“You’re stuck in one of those timeloops you’ve probably heard about…”
Frustrating and tiresome, yet somehow never quite boring.
Hard pass though - I definitely don’t recommend this one.
Worse than both “A Vigilante” and “Peppermint,” this is yet another ‘pretty actress wants to prove she’s tough so here’s her dedicated action flick.’
This is the movie we’ve needed all year. Gal Gadot reprised her role as the titular Wonder Woman in a story that was more about truth and justice than anything we’ve seen with Superman in the last decade.
This could have been a lot better if director Christopher Nolan hadn’t tried to cram too many ideas about time travel into one package…
Taking everything that made the book good and completely discarding it, Ron Howard made an excellent pile of trash that will just clog up the internet tubes as you try to stream it.
The most unrealistic part of this holiday romance-drama was that it took place in 2020 and everyone wasn’t wearing a mask.
I can’t help but feel like “Compound V” from “The Boys” was the inspiration for this movie, but it was entertaining regardless.
Netflix is looking for new IPs to wrangle under their control in their eternal struggle against Disney+.
This is an acceptable one.
The characters made this show unbearable. Spoilers, though I’m not ruining anything worthwhile.
